New Websites Dominate Google With Consistency & Patience

We share the same piece of advice with all of our new clients, especially those who have recently launched their websites: be persistent and patient.

The adage “good things come to those who wait” is surely familiar to you, and in the case of SEO, it couldn’t be more accurate.

Google typically takes three months of consistent SEO work to acknowledge and reward your efforts. And it may take even longer for a new website to start producing results.

In this case study, we’ll explain how three of our clients used perseverance and consistency to achieve not just their desired results, but even better ones!

Background

Three clients will be profiled in this case study: a pet grooming business, a website that sells men’s hair products, and a neighborhood plumber.

Around 50 or fewer visits from organic search were made to each website per month. On top of that, these were practically brand-new sites with no backlinks or keywords to disclose.

Each business created a fantastic, expert website. They experimented with some SEO on their own, specifically a few blog entries here and there, but they weren’t seeing many benefits from their efforts. They decided that in order to ensure that buyers could find them on search engines, they would require professional SEO assistance.

Then, we set them up with guest posts, which are blogs that are published on the blog of another business with a link to the client’s website.

With guest articles, you can typically concentrate on obtaining links from popular or authoritative websites. We determined it was more strategically advantageous to concentrate on obtaining connections from high-domain authority websites for our pet grooming business.

Men’s Hair Product Supply

The supply of men’s hair products is a source for grooming. We chose to concentrate on link building because they already had a process in place for producing content.

We set up link-building and produced two excellent guest posts each month. Due to the diversity of their anchor texts in their foundational links, we were able to target some of their lucrative keywords in the high authority guest pieces.

Our marketing managers conducted research on the money-related keywords in the guest articles and discovered that “how to acquire dreads” and “durag advantages” would produce the best results for them.

Local Plumber

This client had already worked on their website, as we mentioned earlier. They contacted us in an effort to increase their web visibility.

Their campaign manager discovered it would be most beneficial to concentrate on both link building and content generation after performing the initial assessment.

Install gas lines was the first term we picked up for a blog post. They were confident that discussing the advantages of laying gas lines in a home would increase traffic to the article.

Along with creating foundational links, we also wrote a guest post about “collapsed sewer lines” that was traffic-based in order to build a lot of connections with high-performing keywords like “plumbing New Orleans.”

Results

Although all three of these clients were thrilled with their work, it’s crucial to remember that it took them longer than the typical three months to get things going.

We warned them in the beginning that it would take longer because their websites were so young, and it did. But boy, was it worth the wait.

After joining with us, the traffic to our pet grooming business tripled. Today, their number of ranked keywords increased from 0 to around 1,000.

How Quitting Your SEO Campaign Early Hurts You

We all want results right away, but in the realm of SEO, things don’t always work out that way.
